Hypocrisy and this globalization sh#t.

Disoriented by globalization? After the G20 summit, it’s easy to feel like we’re
traipsing through a 21st century rendition of Orwell’s 1984. Stephen Harper and
other global “leaders” say that their policies will resolve the world’s woes, but
when we look at the facts, when we listen closely to testimonies from people
fighting for rights and dignity, it’s clear that current systems of governance are
fundamentally unjust.

So, if you’re unsure of what global justice activists are protesting and what we
propose, join us for a week of alternative orientation programming at the
University of Toronto. From workshops to forums, to parties and performances,
dis/Orientation introduces students to political activism, on campus and beyond.

All events are free, wheelchair accessible, and open to everyone! dis/Orientation
is hosted by the Ontario Public Interest Research Group and the University of
Toronto Students’ Union.
